Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mick Mammoth (ranked 3186 p4p, 4810 weight class) and Jojo Mojo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mick Mammoth has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mammoth lands a nice shot that snaps Mojo's head back.
Mammoth connects with a looping right hand.

Mojo looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Mammoth!
Mojo misses with the ground and pound.
Mojo working the strikes but Mammoth uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Mojo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Mojo thows a huge punch but Mammoth dodges it nicely.
Mammoth has hold of Mojo's hands but Mojo slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Mojo throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mojo with the ground and pound but Mammoth uses the opportunity to regain guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mojo throws an elbow that misses. Mammoth uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Mojo's guard. Nice move by Mammoth!

Mojo looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Mojo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Mammoth tries to stand but Mojo is controlling from the bottom.
Mojo trying to control the position.
Mojo wants to stand and escape but Mammoth is having none of it.
Mammoth trying to stand up but can't free himself from Mojo's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mammoth won't allow Mojo to get back to his feet.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mojo can do anything to dispel that myth.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Mojo is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Mammoth prevents Mojo from getting back to his feet.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Mojo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Oooooh!!! Mammoth has knocked Mojo down with a huge combo! Mammoth steps away and waves a wobbly Mojo back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Mammoth will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mojo slips a jab and a cross from Mammoth.

Mojo shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mammoth is trying to defend but Mojo finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Mammoth wants to get back to his feet.
Mojo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

It looks like Mick Mammoth has been cut.
Mojo is pressing down on Mammoth's thigh, looking to free his foot. Mammoth is holding on for now.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Mojo clinches.
A short uppercut from Mammoth.
Mammoth lands a shoulder strike.
Mojo goes for a takedown attempt but Mammoth pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Mammoth fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Mojo on the side of the head.

Mammoth is not content to let Mojo control the position.
Mammoth taking punishment in the form of punches.
Mojo is looking to take a break and control but Mammoth is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Mojo connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Mammoth some visible discomfort.
