Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jaward Kamara (ranked 5009 p4p, 5822 weight class) and Dechlan Tomsett (ranked 249 p4p, 267 weight class). Dechlan Tomsett will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Dechlan Tomsett!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Roberts and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomsett fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kamara is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Tomsett.
Tomsett throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kamara.

and Kamara counters with a shoot takedown. Tomsett fights it but they end up in guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
You can see the frustration on Kamara's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Kamara really must keep his cool here. He's controlling one of Tomsett's hands and whilst he does that, he's got a chance of escaping the position.
Tomsett is not going to allow Kamara to sit and survive in this position.
Tomsett looking to break Kamara's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Kamara remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Tomsett will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Dechlan Tomsett showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Kamara looks to land a left hand but Tomsett moved out of range nicely.

Kamara stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tomsett swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kamara defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tomsett.
Tomsett throws a low kick but Kamara avoids it.

Kamara feints and as Tomsett raises his hands in defense, Kamara changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Tomsett wriggles free and stands up.
Tomsett tries to bum rush Kamara with a series of wild strikes but Kamara uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kamara drops down looking for a counter takedown but Tomsett sprawls and moves away.
Kamara feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kamara would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Dechlan Tomsett is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Tomsett isn't going anywhere.
Kamara remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Tomsett throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kamara shoots in for a takedown but Tomsett shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jaward Kamara.
Well Tomsett has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
