The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halli darts in looking for a takedown but Gerber gets double underhooks and turns Halli into the cage.
Halli looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Gerber blocks a body shot from Halli.
Halli is trying to break the clinch but Gerber is controlling him.

Gerber breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
