The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holland looks to land a combination but Nakano avoids it well.

Nakano dives in and scores a takedown into Holland's guard.
Nakano passes into half guard.
Nakano is looking to advance position but Holland won't allow it.

Nakano seems to be looking for submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nakano is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Holland has managed to free his arm - good work.
Holland scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Nakano manages to mount him!

Nakano swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Holland is now in Nakano's guard. A big mistake from Nakano there, giving up the dominant position!
Holland wants to stand but Nakano has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Holland is looking to work some ground and pound but Nakano has wrist control.

Holland wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Nakano's closed guard. He's half up but Nakano has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Nakano pivots and extends the arm, Holland falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Nakano! Well done that man!
