Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ichioka Kaori (ranked 2857 p4p, 2897 weight class) and Danny Danger (ranked 358 p4p, 365 weight class). Kaori comes to the cage accompanied by GOZEN. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ichioka Kaori!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Danny Danger!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Franklyn Lucas and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaori throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Danger counters with a nice body kick.
Danger tries a head kick but it misses.
Danger thuds a left hand into Kaori's body.
Danger misses with a right hand
enabling Kaori to counter with a crisp jab.
Kaori slips under a jab from Danger.
Danger throws a head kick but Kaori moves out of range.
Kaori was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
A slapping body kick lands there for Danger.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Danger swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A quick step to the side and Kaori tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Danger throws an off balance right hand
and Kaori counters with a left to the body.
Danger throws a hook to the side of Kaori's head but Kaori sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Kaori throws a predictable looking body shot
enabling Danger to counter with a crisp jab.
Danger tries to clinch but Kaori moves away
and Kaori counters with a nice uppercut.
Danger cracks a nice hook into Kaori's ribs.
Danger has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Danger there as he acknowledges the shot.
Danger rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kaori counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Danger misses with a hook
and Kaori counters with a two punch combo.
Danger has managed to clinch.
Danger prevents a body shot from Kaori.
Danger misses with a punch to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kaori swings wildly with an uppercut but Danger uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Danger misses with a hook to the ribs.
Kaori misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Kaori tries to throw a body punch but Danger avoids it by throwing Kaori back against the cage.
Danger's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Danger lands with a left to the head.
Danger blocking some punches.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Danger.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Kaori.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Kaori lands a hook that snaps the head of Danger backwards.
Kaori blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Kaori makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Kaori misses with a hook to the ribs.
Kaori blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Kaori displaying some good clinch control by pressing Danger up against the cage.
I was talking to Kaori's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Danger stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Kaori scores with a shot to the side of Danger's head.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ichioka Kaori will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Danger has managed to clinch.
Danger doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Kaori pushes Danger back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Kaori tries to throw a body punch but Danger avoids it by throwing Kaori back against the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Kaori takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Danger scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Ichioka Kaori has scored more points in the clinch so far.

Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Danger breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kaori misses with a body shot.
Danger misses with a left hand
and Kaori counters with a nice uppercut.
Kaori lands with a nice body punch.

Danger closes the distance looking to clinch
and Kaori counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Danger lands a big head kick that sends Kaori tumbling to the mat! Danger takes a step backwards and waves Kaori back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Kaori is rocked!

and Danger counters with a nice body shot.
Oh Kaori is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kaori cracks Danger with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Kaori seems to have got his legs back now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Danger loads up on a big right hand but Kaori slips the punch.
Danger misses with a right hand
and Kaori counters with a right hand to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kaori connects with the punch.
Kaori misses with an uppercut. Danger saw that one coming.
Kaori waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Danger.
Danger throws a body kick, spinning off balance
enabling Kaori to counter with a crisp jab.
Kaori keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Danger.
Danger tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kaori takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Danger misses with a right hand
and Kaori counters with a nice uppercut.
Kaori takes one on the chin but seems OK.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Danny Danger will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Kaori cracks Danger with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Danger looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Kaori finish him?
Danger is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kaori throws a pinpoint strike between Danger's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Danger crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Kaori scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ichioka Kaori!
After winning the bout, Ichioka Kaori thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
