Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Prokop Pustik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, The Requis !
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Lou da Vinci and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pustik takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Pustik shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Requis defends it nicely.
Pustik has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Pustik there as he acknowledges the shot.
Pustik closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Requis has hold of Pustik's hands but Pustik slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Pustik missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Requis tries to roll over but Pustik keeps him under control.
Pustik thows a huge punch but Requis dodges it nicely.
Pustik lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Requis quite badly. Requis pulls Pustik in close trying to recover. Pustik postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Requis on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Requis doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Prokop Pustik!
