Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Shamrock (ranked 4464 p4p, 6309 weight class) and Lucas Bouchard (ranked 550 p4p, 646 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Shamrock might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Next Episode. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shamrock gets a clinch.

Shamrock escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Shamrock takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Bouchard wants to clinch.
Shamrock misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bouchard throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Shamrock seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Bouchard throws a series of punches but Shamrock avoids them all with ease.
Bouchard misses with a wild combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bouchard is looking to clinch but Shamrock is avoiding it.
Shamrock stalks Bouchard and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bouchard's face. Bouchard staggers backwards, shaken.

A little feinted left hand from Shamrock on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Bouchard throws a body punch but Shamrock moves out of range.
Lucas Bouchard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shamrock throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bouchard tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Shamrock manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Shamrock is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Bouchard.

Shamrock went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

No joy there for Shamrock, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Shamrock throws a big counter combination but Bouchard scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Shamrock throws a right and a left that Bouchard avoids nicely.
Bouchard tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Bouchard smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Bouchard throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
A slow jab from Shamrock misses its intended target.
Bouchard lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shamrock circles away quickly and effectively.
Bouchard fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Shamrock has managed to clinch.
Bouchard can't break the clinch.
Shamrock prevents Bouchard from breaking the clinch.

Shamrock breaks the clinch.
Bouchard lands a right hook to the body.

Bouchard moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Bouchard misses with a takedown attempt - Shamrock sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
As Bouchard looks to move away, Shamrock throws a big counter combo but Bouchard just gets out of the way.
OH! Shamrock has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Bouchard smells blood and charges in for the finish! Bouchard unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Shamrock sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
