Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Bastard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Quinell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Big Bastard could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Craig Quinell's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bastard tries to clinch there but Quinell circles away.
Bastard avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bastard swats away the attempt to clinch by Quinell.
Quinell fails with an attempt to clinch.

Quinell moves into the clinch.
Quinell jumps guard but Bastard stands there with Quinell around his waist. Quinell gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Quinell decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Quinell seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Bastard wants to stand and escape but Quinell is having none of it.

Bastard has managed to clinch.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Quinell wants to break free but Bastard has control.
Bastard has Quinell pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Quinell manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Bastard lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Bastard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bastard is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Bastard gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Bastard gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Bastard apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

I really don't envy Quinell right now.
