Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Morrison Dickson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Gabin Laokandi!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Peter Branson and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dickson lands a nice looking body shot.
Dickson lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Dickson cracks Laokandi with a right hand to the side of the head.
Laokandi drops his hands momentarily and Dickson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Dickson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Dickson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dickson scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Laokandi takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Dickson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Laokandi moves away.
Laokandi throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dickson was covering up waiting for the punch and Laokandi finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Laokandi slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Let's hope that Laokandi has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Laokandi's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Dickson is striking off his back. Laokandi thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.

Dickson is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Laokandi has latched onto it... Big trouble! Laokandi pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Dickson is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Laokandi!
