Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Mako Akumba (ranked 2921 p4p, 17728 weight class) and Steel Penn Jr (ranked 369 p4p, 640 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Steel Penn Jr was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akumba connects with a crisp jab.
Penn Jr with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Penn Jr lets loose with a powerful body kick. Akumba will feel that in the morning.
Penn Jr lands a nice looking body shot.
Penn Jr throws a body shot but no joy.
Penn Jr throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
As Penn Jr looks to move away, Akumba throws a big counter combo but Penn Jr just gets out of the way.
Akumba definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Akumba looks to score with a jab to the body but Penn Jr is just out of range.
Akumba misses with a lunging right hand
and Penn Jr counters with a leg kick.
Akumba throws a combination. Penn Jr tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Penn Jr moves out of range of the body kick.
Akumba moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromPenn Jr.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Akumba misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Penn Jr counters with a stiff right hand.
Penn Jr misses with a looping left.
Penn Jr swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Akumba throws a body shot but no joy.
Akumba connects with a jab.
Penn Jr defending well as Akumba loads up on a big left hand.
Akumba takes a swing at Penn Jr's ribcage but misses.
Penn Jr cracks Akumba with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

It looks like Mako Akumba has been cut.
The crowd cheers as Akumba lands an impressive looking overhand right. Penn Jr doesn't seem phased though.

Akumba connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Penn Jr out cold! This one is over in a flash!
