Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Boxer (ranked 4188 p4p, 2150 weight class) and Kk Ww (ranked 54 p4p, 26 weight class). Bruce Boxer has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bruce Boxer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kk Ww!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boxer closes the distance and pushes Ww back into the cage.
Ww looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Boxer jumps guard and drags Ww to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Ww dives in and grabs Boxer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Boxer pushes down on Ww's head and hops out.

Boxer tries to land a knee to the head but Ww blocks with his arms.
Boxer is working for takedown but Ww is calmly controlling the position for now.

Ww struggles to land a body shot inside as Boxer controls his hands.

Boxer drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ww gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Boxer jumps guard but Ww turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Boxer drags the fight down to the ground.
Boxer is trying to control the position but Ww postures up.
Boxer wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ww trying to stand up but can't free himself from Boxer's guard.

Ww stands up from Boxer's guard - Ww perhaps looking for a knockout.

Ww lands a jab-cross combination.
Boxer will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Boxer looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Boxer pushes Ww up against the cage in a clinch.

Boxer gets control of Ww's arms and successfully pulls guard. Boxer will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Boxer is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round but I would say that Bruce Boxer will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Ww tries to stall but Boxer uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Boxer is trying to break the clinch but Ww has him pressed against the cage.
Our sources have told us that Boxer has been working on his elbows in the gym.

Boxer working for a triangle but Ww defends it easily.

Boxer will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Ww has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Boxer is proving hard to escape from.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Boxer controlling the position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Ww falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ww takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Boxer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Boxer closes the distance and clinches up with Ww, looking for a takedown. Boxer pushes Ww against the cage but Ww circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Boxer jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ww walks away with a smile on his face. Boxer gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Boxer tries to score a body lock takedown but Ww shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Ww lands a body shot in the clinch.
Ww prevents a takedown attempt there.
Boxer is trying to maintain a safe position but Ww gets an underhook and turns Boxer into the cage.
Boxer jumps guard but Ww stands there with Boxer around his waist. Boxer gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Ww gets tackled into the cage by Boxer. Boxer maintains the clinch.
Boxer is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ww can do to turn this around?
Ww is pushing Boxer up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Boxer manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Boxer had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ww defends it easily.

Ww stands and throws Boxer's legs to the side, diving into side control.
