Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pepe Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Jane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jane has chosen Marijuana as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jane has taken the fight to the clinch.
Perez misses with a knee to the head.
Perez scores a nice knee to the body.
Jane wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Perez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Perez lands an elbow inside that Jane shrugs off.

Perez keeps control of Jane as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Perez is looking to stand up but Jane isn't so interested in that idea.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Perez wants to stand but Jane is controlling the position.
Jane would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Perez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jane has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Perez is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Perez's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Perez has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jane avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Jane is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Perez is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Jane tries to lock up and control but Perez gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Perez tries to bench press Jane off him but Jane keeps the position.
A lull in the action here as Jane stalls from top position.

Perez is pushing Jane's head away, looking to escape. Jane manages to hold on to the position though.

Jane decides to stand back up.
Perez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jane tries to avoid it but Perez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jane to the ground. Jane escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Perez looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jane throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Jane tries to land a leg kick but Perez saw it coming and moves away.

Jane tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Perez paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Perez shoots in and drives through. Jane sprawls well.

Jane is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Perez is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Perez has escaped and now he's on top!
