Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, John Wayne Gacy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Micah Frank!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gacy looks to clinch
and Frank counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Frank with the inside leg kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gacy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Frank only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Gacy goes for a double leg but Frank avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Frank continues to drive forward.
A little jabbing left from Frank on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Gacy blocking some punches.
Gacy wants to get back to striking at distance but Frank won't allow it.
Frank escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gacy tries to bum rush Frank with a series of wild strikes but Frank uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frank gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Gacy wants to control from the top but Frank keeps moving.

Gacy drops back, looking for a kneebar! Frank looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Frank looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Frank!
Gacy is looking to reverse the position.
Frank controlling the position.
Gacy is trying to improve his position.
Gacy is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Gacy tries to kick Frank off but Frank keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Frank with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Gacy holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Gacy looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Frank is taking a breather. Gacy says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Gacy on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gacy tries to get out of the position.

Gacy scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Frank manages to mount him!
Gacy tries to hold on but Frank pushes him away.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A nice leg kick lands there from Frank.
Gacy shoots and misses
letting Frank counter with a right hand.
Gacy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Frank as he jumps to the side.
Gacy connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Frank momentarily.

Frank misses with a looping right.
Gacy bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Gacy tries to stand but Frank is controlling his head.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Gacy in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Gacy working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Frank defending against the ground and pound.
Gacy is looking to take a break and control but Frank is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Gacy postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Frank tries to buck Gacy off but Gacy is having none of it.
Gacy content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
I wouldn't like to be where Frank is right now.
Gacy fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Gacy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Frank keeps working.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Gacy darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gacy prevents Frank from improving his position.
Gacy tries to pass the half guard into mount. Frank knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

John Wayne Gacy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Frank is looking to control Gacy's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Frank avoid being mounted?
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Gacy looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Gacy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Frank pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

and Frank counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Gacy drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Gacy throws a big elbow that misses.
Gacy looking to sit in guard and control but Frank gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Frank slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Gacy tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Frank sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Gacy looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Frank puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Gacy tries to get to full guard but Frank has control of the leg.

Frank perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Gacy wants to control the action here but instead Frank manages to pass to full mount!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gacy pushes Frank off looking to stand but Frank dives back in and keeps control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Frank sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Gacy is trying to maintain the position but Frank is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Gacy wants to clinch up but Frank keeps it at a distance.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Frank! But no joy.
Gacy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Frank pinned against the cage. Frank gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Micah Frank comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Frank has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
