Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pawel Nastula (ranked 4534 p4p, 4661 weight class) and Lee Rim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pawel Nastula!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lee Rim!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nastula takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Rim shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nastula pinned against the cage. Nastula gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nastula throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rim misses with a takedown attempt
and Nastula holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Rim scores with a knee to the head.
Rim connects with a knee to the head.
Nastula is trying to break the clinch but Rim has him pressed against the cage.
Rim keeps control of Nastula as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Rim ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Rim no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Nastula tries to free his leg and advance position but Rim is retaining full guard.
Rim wants to improve his position but instead Nastula has moved into half guard.

Nastula tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nastula really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Nastula slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Rim manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Nastula keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Rim escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nastula shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Nastula showed some decent athleticism there.
Rim pushes Nastula off but Nastula dives into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nastula has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Rim gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Nastula to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Nastula is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Rim is trying to escape back to his feet but Nastula uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Nastula is trying to get an arm triangle but Rim is defending well.
Rim is looking for a sweep.
Nastula thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

You can see the frustration on Rim's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Nastula cracks Rim with a big right hand but Rim just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Rim is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Nastula keeps the fight on the outside.
Rim shoots in but no luck this time.
Rim tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nastula swivels and escapes.

Pawel Nastula has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lee Rim.

Rim is looking to clinch but Nastula is avoiding it.
Nastula closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rim to the mat! Rim manages to get full guard.
Rim wants to stand and escape but Nastula is having none of it.
Nastula seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nastula distracts Rim with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Nastula has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Rim is proving hard to escape from.
Rim takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Nastula controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Nastula has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Rim is looking to control Nastula's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Rim avoid being mounted?
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Rim wants to clinch up but Nastula keeps it at a distance.
Nastula is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rim.

Rim is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Rim tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Nastula closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Nastula working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Nastula, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
