Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vitja Kostlov (ranked 2495 p4p, 6063 weight class) and Mason Marmot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy body kick from Kostlov
and Marmot counters with a series of strikes. Kostlov will be more careful next time no doubt.
Marmot looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Marmot circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kostlov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Kostlov lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Kostlov is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Marmot is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Kostlov has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Marmot !
Marmot felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Kostlov with shots to the head and body - Marmot looks very uncomfortable down there.
Kostlov jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Marmot manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Kostlov staying calm.
Kostlov tries to advance to mount but can't.
Marmot is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kostlov's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Kostlov! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Marmot has tapped! This one is allllll over!
