The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters circling a little - Erikson finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Brown sizes up Erikson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Oh Erikson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

It seemed like Brown was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Erikson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
