The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bricard shoots in for a takedown but Wife shows good takedown defense.
Wife appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Bricard tries to grapple but his opponent circles
enabling Wife to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Terry Bricard has been cut.
Bricard dives in for a single leg takedown but Wife sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
A low kick from Bricard is predictable there
and Wife counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bricard misses with a hook
and Bricard takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wife plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Bricard swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Bricard face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
