Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dirk Elskamp (ranked 4565 p4p, 4665 weight class) and Test Ten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dirk Elskamp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Test Ten!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ten tries to clinch up
and Elskamp counters with a stiff right hand.
Ten has managed to clinch.
Elskamp is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Ten decides to pull guard.
Ten wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Elskamp has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ten is proving hard to escape from.

Elskamp lands with a straight right. Ten didn't see that one coming.
Ten takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Ten takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Elskamp lands a glancing blow to the side of Ten's head.
A jab from Elskamp does it's job there.
Ten feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Elskamp wriggles free and stands up.
Ten shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Elskamp but Elskamp pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Elskamp clinches up with Ten and pushes him back against the cage.
Elskamp is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Ten is keeping busy.

Maybe Elskamp would be better served going for some more strikes rather than trying to control so much.
Elskamp gets through Ten's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Elskamp wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Elskamp is trying to break the clinch but Ten has him pressed against the cage.

Elskamp pushes Ten off looking to stand but Ten dives back in and keeps control.
Ten is nestled in close to Elskamp, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Ten wants to work for an arm triangle but Elskamp is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Elskamp wants to get back to his feet.

Elskamp connects with a body shot that sends Ten's belly button to the back.

and Elskamp counters with a straight right hand.
Elskamp tries to close the distance and clinch but Ten swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ten appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Sloppy strikes from Elskamp. Those never looked like landing.
Ten swings for the body but Elskamp moves out of range.

Elskamp tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ten swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ten throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Elskamp.

and Elskamp counters with a two punch combo.

Ten walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Test Ten is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Ten is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Elskamp.

Elskamp lands a jab to Ten's midsection.
Ten takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Ten shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Ten is still on wobbly legs! Can Elskamp finish him?
Ten takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Ten seems to have recovered his senses.

Elskamp works over Ten's head and body with a nice combination.
Ten gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Elskamp tries to stall but Ten uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Ten's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ten misses with a takedown
and Elskamp counters with a crisp one two that drops Ten! Elskamp thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Ten to his feet! Ten is in big trouble!

Ten seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Elskamp shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Ten is backing up but Elskamp catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Ten covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Elskamp Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
