The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Turner shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Plugger manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Plugger felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Turner wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Plugger, who protects the arm well.
Turner will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Plugger is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Turner's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Turner's back!
