Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shane O Malley (ranked 535 p4p, 1132 weight class) and Snappy Whiplash (ranked 63 p4p, 131 weight class). O Malley kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Someone Like Me - by: Jon Connor. Shane O Malley could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Snappy Whiplash's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Whiplash lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Whiplash has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Some bone on bone action there as Whiplash checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
It seemed like Whiplash was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from O Malley lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Whiplash has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Whiplash and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Well Whiplash has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
