Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dewey Decimal (ranked 516 p4p, 992 weight class) and Dragon Li Chai (ranked 30 p4p, 60 weight class). Decimal's entrance music is The Dewey Decimal Rap. A fine choice. Dewey Decimal could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dragon Li Chai's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dewey Decimal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dragon Li Chai!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decimal misses with a looping right.
And Chai tries to counter it with a takedown but Decimal pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Chai moves away from the strike by Decimal.
Chai changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Chai takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Chai fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Decimal sprawls well initially but Chai persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Decimal wants to improve his position but Chai is controlling well.

Chai is looking for a kimura here.

Chai is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Decimal is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
I really don't envy Decimal right now.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Chai throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Decimal seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Decimal is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chai.

Decimal gets caught napping as Chai dives in and scores a takedown. Decimal manages to retain guard.

Chai got a little sloppy there for a moment and Decimal has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chai has managed to get both his arms back between Decimal's legs - danger averted.
Decimal is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Decimal might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Chai drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chai jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Decimal tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Chai has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Chai there as he acknowledges the shot.

Chai is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Chai is trying to control the action in half guard but Decimal is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Chai is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Decimal doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Chai.

Dragon Li Chai showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Decimal's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Decimal throws a hook to the side of Chai's head but Chai sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dewey Decimal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Decimal throws out a loose jab but Chai uses good head movement to avoid it.

Decimal escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chai gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chai stands and throws Decimal's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Decimal tries to improve position but can't.
Decimal manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Decimal is looking to improve his position.
Chai moves into full mount! Decimal won't be happy about that!
Decimal is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Dragon Li Chai is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Dragon Li Chai comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Chai winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
