The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seehaver fails to land the takedown.
Seehaver doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Ridgewood counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Seehaver is defended easily by Ridgewood.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kyle Seehaver. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Nice combo by Ridgewood! Oh, that's hurt him - Seehaver falls to the canvas and Ridgewood follows him into side control.

It looks like Kyle Seehaver has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ridgewood tries to move to mount but Seehaver blocks the move with his legs.
Oh Seehaver is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The ground and pound from Ridgewood seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Ridgewood misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Ridgewood has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Puncher's Chance Collective. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Ridgewood lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Seehaver down.
Ridgewood in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Seehaver looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Ridgewood turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
