Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Art Mcgowan (ranked 4667 p4p, 6229 weight class) and Dexter Warren (ranked 494 p4p, 571 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Art Mcgowan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dexter Warren!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Fedor Mirinova and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgowan doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Warren counters with a one-two to the body.
Mcgowan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Warren manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Warren has closed the distance and engaged Mcgowan in a clinch.
Warren breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Warren looks to land a combination. Mcgowan sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Art Mcgowan has been cut.
Warren connects with a nice looking jab.
Mcgowan throws a head kick that misses.
Warren dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mcgowan. That did some damage!
Mcgowan misses with a takedown attempt - Warren sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mcgowan shoots in looking for a takedown but Warren manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mcgowan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Art Mcgowan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Warren counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Mcgowan is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Warren rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mcgowan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Warren moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Mcgowan! Warren continues to tee off on Mcgowan, landing with a left and a right! Warren connects with a right hand that leaves Mcgowan sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Warren!
