Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kibe Dai (ranked 4653 p4p, 4309 weight class) and Daigo Tsuikiyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kibe Dai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daigo Tsuikiyama!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dai is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tsuikiyama sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Tsuikiyama gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dai to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Dai can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Tsuikiyama controls the pace.
Tsuikiyama wants to get up but he can't break Dai's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Tsuikiyama lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Tsuikiyama throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tsuikiyama smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Daigo Tsuikiyama is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tsuikiyama will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
It looked like Dai was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Tsuikiyama lands with a hook. Dai tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Tsuikiyama fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dai manages to avoid it.

Dai tries for a takedown but Tsuikiyama sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kibe Dai. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Dai closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Dai looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

We've been informed that Tsuikiyama has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Dai misses with a wild combination.
Dai takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Tsuikiyama connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

and Dai counters with a three punch combo that has Tsuikiyama backing up. Tsuikiyama nods at Dai to acknowledge the strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dai lands strikes from half guard.

A close round but Daigo Tsuikiyama will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That's time! Dai's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

No joy there for Tsuikiyama, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
As Tsuikiyama tries to get set, Dai tries to push him back and clinch up but Tsuikiyama manages to avoid the attempt.
Tsuikiyama works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Tsuikiyama lands a nice looking body shot.

Dai closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dai lands in his opponent's guard.

Tsuikiyama has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Dai is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Dai breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Tsuikiyama swings for the body but Dai moves out of range.
Dai takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Tsuikiyama clobbers Dai with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Dai misses with a hook from the clinch.
Dai jumps guard but Tsuikiyama stands there with Dai around his waist. Dai gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Daigo Tsuikiyama is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Dai tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Tsuikiyama smiles and moves away.

Dai doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Dai shoots in for a double leg but Tsuikiyama sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Tsuikiyama looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

and Tsuikiyama counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Tsuikiyama throws a series of punches but Dai avoids them all with ease.
Dai shoots for a takedown but Tsuikiyama saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Dai fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tsuikiyama avoids it really well and circles away.
Tsuikiyama finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Dai takes the fight into the clinch.
Dai has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Tsuikiyama after a bit of a struggle.
Dai fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Tsuikiyama will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Dai up against the cage.
Dai doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Tsuikiyama pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Tsuikiyama comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Dai moves in looking to clinch but Tsuikiyama pushes him off.
It seemed like Tsuikiyama was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Tsuikiyama fails to land with a series of punches.
Kibe Dai has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Kibe Dai is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Dai wants to clinch.

And that's the end of the fight!
Daigo Tsuikiyama comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Tsuikiyama winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
