Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Ziggy King (ranked 1260 p4p, 23464 weight class) and Igor Slavoski (ranked 15 p4p, 197 weight class). King comes into the arena with Should I Stay or Should I Go blaring out of the sound system. Slavoski has chosen Kanye West Staring as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Igor Slavoski is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Igor Slavoski!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Ron Honeybunn and Ben Hemmingworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slavoski slips a jab from King.
Slavoski throws out a counter right but King avoids it with no problem.
Donk. King catches Slavoski right on the button with a cross.
Slavoski misses with a looping left.

King has managed to clinch.

Slavoski is looking to break free of the clinch but King has double underhooks.

King has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

King breaks the clinch momentarily and cracks Slavoski with a big right hook that drops him to the canvas! Slavoski looks like he might be in big trouble here! The referee has started the count straight away and we're up to 5 already. Slavoski get to one knee - can he make it back to his feet? Yes, he's struggled back up to his feet and seems OK to continue. The referee agrees so we're back to the action!

King moves into range and clinches up with Slavoski.
King lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Slavoski is still on wobbly legs! Can King finish him?
King pushes Slavoski back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.
Slavoski seems to have recovered his senses.
King lands on the inside with an uppercut.
King lands a left hand that snaps the head of Slavoski backwards.
King lands a hook to the side of the head.

Nice body punch from King - that landed with a thud.

Slavoski takes a shot to the head.

King creates a bit of space and cracks Slavoski with an uppercut that drops him to the canvas! Slavoski is wobbled and seems to be struggling to get back to his feet. 3,4,5. He's up! Phew, his manager will be relieved but they're no doubt wondering whether he'll be able to recover properly and get back in the fight!
King ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Slavoski out cold! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ziggy King!
A relieved looking Ziggy King thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
