Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Juan Kemonito (ranked 2364 p4p, 2495 weight class) and Aleksi Heimo (ranked 138 p4p, 144 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kemonito might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kemonito Entrance Music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Juan Kemonito!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aleksi Heimo!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Ron Honeybunn and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heimo swings for the body but Kemonito moves out of range.
Kemonito is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
The fighters circle momentarily. Heimo darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Heimo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Heimo lands with an uppercut that bounces Kemonito off the cage and back into range.
Heimo throws an overhand right that lands on Kemonito's shoulder, as Kemonito tries to avoid the shot.
Kemonito throws a counter high kick but Heimo was just alert enough to avoid it.
Heimo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kemonito drops down looking for a counter takedown but Heimo sprawls and moves away.
Aleksi Heimo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kemonito instigates a clinch.
Kemonito is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Heimo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kemonito is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kemonito has escaped and now he's on top!

Kemonito might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Heimo has gone for a leg lock! Kemonito slips out almost immediately though and dives into Heimo's guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Heimo is on top in guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Juan Kemonito will probably get the nod.

Kemonito gets to his feet and stands over Heimo, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Heimo felt that one! Kemonito unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Heimo from any more punishment!
