The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belvedere connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Petrov's hands.
Petrov throws a jab but it's blocked by Belvedere.
Belvedere misses with a looping right.
Some wild striking there from Petrov.
Belvedere lands a nice shot that snaps Petrov's head back.
Belvedere moves into range and connects with a jab.
Belvedere misses with a hook.

Petrov throws a nice looking combination but Belvedere bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Belvedere swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Belvedere connects with a right that clearly hurt Petrov. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Belvedere proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Petrov collapses and taps out under the pressure!
