Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valdez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

and Mangold counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
We've been informed that Valdez has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Valdez steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Mangold. That one must have hurt.
Valdez is still on wobbly legs! Can Mangold finish him?
Mangold scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Valdez gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Mangold points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Valdez wakes up just in time to hear Mangold thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
