Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nou Hematopoye (ranked 855 p4p, 1124 weight class) and Kevin Walters (ranked 91 p4p, 123 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nou Hematopoye!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Walters!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Steve Montenegro and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walters throws a hook but Hematopoye avoids it easily.
Hematopoye pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Walters back to the cage. Hematopoye follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Hematopoye throws a body punch but Walters moves out of range.
Walters swings for the body but Hematopoye moves out of range.
Walters takes a jab right on the kisser.
Hematopoye darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

and Walters counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Walters looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

and Walters counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hematopoye jabs Walters to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Walters escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hematopoye gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hematopoye got a little sloppy there for a moment and Walters has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hematopoye has managed to get both his arms back between Walters's legs - danger averted.

Hematopoye stuns Walters with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Hematopoye throws a hook to the side of Walters's head but Walters sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Walters now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
No joy there for Walters, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Hematopoye throws an overhand right that lands on Walters's shoulder, as Walters tries to avoid the shot.

Walters cracks Hematopoye with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Hematopoye takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hematopoye throws a lazy right hand but Walters sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
