The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Rua closes the distance and clinches.
Kerr is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Rua pulls him back up using the underhooks.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Let's hope that Rua has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Rua bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kerr's guard.

Rua tries to get the hooks in deep but Kerr pushed the leg off.

Rua just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
