Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin slips a straight right by Silva.
Silva misses with a right hand
and Austin counters with a nice uppercut.
Silva lands with a nice body punch.
Silva moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Silva throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Austin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Silva counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Kyle Austin has been cut.

Silva pushes Austin up against the cage in a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Austin is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Silva is defending well for now.

Silva's coach down at EFC Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Silva's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Silva lands a huge knee in the clinch and it's knocked Austin out! Massive knee - he's celebrating with his corner and the crowd showing their appreciation!
