The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisher jabs Shoenfeld to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Shoenfeld walks into a left hand.
Fisher misses with a double jab.

Fisher gets caught napping as Shoenfeld dives in and scores a takedown. Fisher manages to retain guard.
Shoenfeld controlling from the top position.
Shoenfeld trying to control the position from guard on top but Fisher is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shoenfeld drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Shoenfeld jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Shoenfeld has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Walter J Abramowitz Center for Bigness. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Shoenfeld is looking to work some ground and pound but Fisher has wrist control.

Shoenfeld is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Shoenfeld wants to take Fisher's back here but Fisher is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Shoenfeld goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Fisher turns into him and now he's in Shoenfeld's guard.

Shoenfeld is trying to control the position but Fisher postures up.
Shoenfeld is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Fisher knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shoenfeld on the ground.
Shoenfeld uses his free foot to push down on Fisher's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Fisher.
Shoenfeld wants to control the pace but Fisher is squirming around nicely.

Shoenfeld is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Fisher is forced to tap! Great finish!
