The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Giantslayer looking to score a takedown here. Light Year is defending well but Giantslayer drives through and ends up in Light Year 's guard.
Light Year wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Giantslayer is now in half guard.
Giantslayer is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Light Year felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Light Year wants to get back to full guard.
Giantslayer slips a nice elbow through Light Year 's hands, connecting with Light Year 's forehead.
Light Year is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Giantslayer connects with a nice short shot to Light Year 's temple.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Giantslayer lands a nice short elbow.

Giantslayer lands a big elbow - Light Year is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Giantslayer!
