Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Issac Field (ranked 1868 p4p, 3043 weight class) and Cristy Pitts (ranked 188 p4p, 298 weight class). Issac Field has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Issac Field!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Cristy Pitts!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Santiago Holmes and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Field jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Pitts slips under a jab from Field.
Pitts steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Field.
Pitts's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Field connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pitts scrambles back to his feet.
Field misses with a low kick.
Pitts shoots and misses
and Field counters with a nice uppercut.
Field definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Pitts keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Pitts misses the jab.
A little feinted left hand from Field on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Pitts throws a jab but it's blocked by Field.
Field tries to bum rush Pitts with a series of wild strikes but Pitts uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pitts takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Field throws out a loose jab but Pitts uses good head movement to avoid it.
Field smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
A jab from Pitts finds it's way through Field's defenses.
Issac Field seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Field misses with a left hand
and Pitts counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Pitts swings for the body but Field moves out of range.
Field was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Field bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Pitts's head backwards.

Pitts is rocked!
Pitts walks straight into a right hand from Field - that's dropped him! Field jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Pitts from any more punishment! Pitts complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
