Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yamasaki Mishimoto (ranked 4298 p4p, 3933 weight class) and Banker Three (ranked 233 p4p, 216 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Yamasaki Mishimoto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Banker Three!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Sandra Marshall and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Three drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Three showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Three pushes down on Mishimoto's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Three is looking to advance position but Mishimoto won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Three not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Mishimoto avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Three.
Mishimoto trying to control from the bottom.
Three has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Three is trying to work for a kimura but Mishimoto is defending well.

Three is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Mishimoto tries to roll over but Three keeps him under control.
Three is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Three prevents Mishimoto from standing back up.
Three passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Mishimoto!
Three looking to control and managing it successfully.
Mishimoto really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Let's hope that Three has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Three gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Three works Mishimoto's body with a nice hook.
Mishimoto throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Yamasaki Mishimoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mishimoto throws a hook but Three avoids it easily.
Three throws a leg kick but Mishimoto sees it coming and moves out of range.
Three throws a low kick but it's checked well by Mishimoto.
Mishimoto pivots, looking for a leg kick but Three is out of range and Mishimoto settles back down.
Three swings for the body but Mishimoto moves out of range.
Mishimoto appears to be looking for a big counter.

Three has Mishimoto up against the cage in a clinch.

Three breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Mishimoto looks for the body kick but Three saw that one coming.
Mishimoto throws a head kick that misses.

Three closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Mishimoto quickly recovers to half guard.
Mishimoto scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Three manages to mount him!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Three sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Three with a couple of short strikes.
You get the feeling that Mishimoto really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Three content just to control the position here.

Mishimoto is rocked!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Banker Three dominated that round.
That's time! Mishimoto's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Mishimoto tries to clinch up.
Three avoids the head kick by Mishimoto.
Three drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Mishimoto defends it well.
Mishimoto throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Three dives in and scores a takedown into Mishimoto's guard.
Three slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Three cracks Mishimoto with a solid left hand.
Oh Mishimoto is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Three is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Mishimoto seems to have got his legs back now.
Mishimoto wants to stand up but Three is controlling him.

Three slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Three pushes down on Mishimoto's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Three wants to free his trapped foot but Mishimoto is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Three is taking a breather. Mishimoto says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Three wants to free his trapped foot but Mishimoto is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Three wants to work for an arm triangle but Mishimoto is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Three with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Three's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mishimoto misses with the combination.

Three scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Three tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Three decides to stand up, so the ref orders Mishimoto to his feet.

Three closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Mishimoto pushes Three off but Three dives into side control.
Three has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Mishimoto trying to remain calm as Three controls from the top position.

Three is continuing to stall.
Mishimoto tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Three tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Three has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Mishimoto is letting Three control him for a moment.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Banker Three showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Three misses with a straight left.

Three moves into the clinch.
Three tries to pull guard but Mishimoto won't allow it.

Three jumps guard and drags Mishimoto to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Mishimoto wanted to stand there but Three had control of the position.

Mishimoto stands up from Three's guard - Mishimoto perhaps looking for a knockout.
Banker Three is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Three clinches with his opponent.

Three is trying to trip Mishimoto. He has hold of a leg but Mishimoto is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Three persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Mishimoto is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Three is controlling him.

Three is stalling in the full guard.
Three is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Three prevents Mishimoto from getting back to his feet.

Three decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Three moves into range and clinches up with Mishimoto.
Three stalling the fight.

Three has picked Mishimoto up - he's going for a ride! Three dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Mishimoto is trying to control but can't.
Three moves into full mount! Mishimoto won't be happy about that!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mishimoto prevents Three from moving into mount.
Three is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Mishimoto tries to escape but Three is in control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Mishimoto is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Three is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mishimoto is trying desperately to improve position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Banker Three comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Three winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Yamasaki Mishimoto spoke after the fight, saying 'For every step back, I shall take 2 steps forward. Good fighter right there! He deserves the win.'.
