Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Dexter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Burton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Atkins and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burton takes the fight into the clinch.

Burton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Burton looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dexter is fending him off so far but Burton persists. Nope, Dexter circles away and we're back to standing.
Burton shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dexter but Dexter pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Fred Burton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dexter shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Burton's guard.
Dexter drops back, looking for a kneebar! Burton looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Burton looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Burton!

Dexter has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Burton can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That was a close round but I would say that Mark Dexter will probably get the nod.

Dexter has hold of Burton's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Burton manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dexter, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
