Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kranckx Diesel (ranked 353 p4p, 2246 weight class) and Kofi Ousmane (ranked 45 p4p, 288 weight class). Kranckx Diesel could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kofi Ousmane's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kranckx Diesel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kofi Ousmane!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ousmane changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Diesel tries to avoid it but Ousmane manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Diesel to the ground. Diesel escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Diesel leaves Ousmane with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ousmane is defended easily by Diesel.
Kranckx Diesel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kofi Ousmane.

Diesel drives through and clinches with Ousmane against the cage.
Diesel lands an uppercut.
Ousmane changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Diesel fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Diesel has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Diesel has taken the fight to the clinch.
Diesel gets through Ousmane's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Diesel lands with a short head shot on the inside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ousmane is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Diesel gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Ousmane tries to score a body lock takedown but Diesel shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Ousmane gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ousmane thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Diesel's head.
Ousmane wants to pass the guard but Diesel is defending well.

Ousmane lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Ousmane has isolated one of Diesel's arms. Diesel looking to fight him off but Ousmane twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
