The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Garcilazo scores with a takedown into McGregor's guard.
Garcilazo stops McGregor from standing up.
Garcilazo is standing up over McGregor. McGregor looks to escape but Garcilazo dives into side control.
McGregor wants to get back to his feet.

Garcilazo is trying to get an arm triangle but McGregor is defending well.
McGregor dodges the ground and pound from Garcilazo.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Garcilazo just content to control the position.
Garcilazo tries to advance to mount but McGregor denies him.
McGregor is not content to let Garcilazo control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McGregor is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Garcilazo is stalling here but it's allowed McGregor to get half guard.
Garcilazo stops McGregor from getting back to his feet.

You get the feeling that McGregor really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Garcilazo controlling the pace for now.
Let's hope that Garcilazo has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Garcilazo throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Garcilazo looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

McGregor squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Garcilazo wants to control the pace but McGregor is squirming around nicely.
McGregor is trying to stand up.

Garcilazo has hold of McGregor's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and McGregor manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
McGregor stops Garcilazo from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Garcilazo tries to control but McGregor wriggling away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Garcilazo looking to control and managing it successfully.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Garcilazo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McGregor looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Garcilazo wants to control but McGregor is keeping him busy.
McGregor is trying to buck Garcilazo off.

Garcilazo has an Americana. McGregor didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Garcilazo is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Garcilazo hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
