Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pittarick McGrowler (ranked 6250 p4p, 23054 weight class) and Eaton Rockwell (ranked 652 p4p, 723 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rockwell clinches with his opponent.
McGrowler goes for a takedown attempt but Rockwell pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Rockwell closes the distance and pushes McGrowler back into the cage.
McGrowler tries to score a body lock takedown but Rockwell shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
McGrowler has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Rockwell avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Rockwell has picked McGrowler up - he's going for a ride! Rockwell dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

McGrowler throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Rockwell escapes and throws McGrowler's legs to the side, diving into side control!

McGrowler sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Rockwell's guard.

McGrowler is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rockwell doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time McGrowler.
Rockwell is looking for a sweep. McGrowler is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

McGrowler frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

McGrowler looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Rockwell tries to hold on but McGrowler postures up.

Rockwell manages to regain half guard. Good work.

McGrowler is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rockwell defends it well.

Rockwell tries to get to full guard but McGrowler has control of the leg.
Rockwell has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McGrowler is working away from the top position though.

That was a close round but I would say that Pittarick McGrowler will probably get the nod.

McGrowler shoots in looking for a takedown but Rockwell manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McGrowler's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

McGrowler working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rockwell doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but McGrowler is tightening it up a little... Rockwell has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Rockwell reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Rockwell taps out! Nice BJJ there by McGrowler!
