Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leyte Gulf (ranked 1496 p4p, 1229 weight class) and Yef Yew (ranked 231 p4p, 195 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gulf might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to For Heavy Metal we will die!. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 12 - 3, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yef Yew!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body kick there by Gulf.

Yew uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gulf.
Yef Yew seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Yew shoots in looking for a takedown but Gulf manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Yew's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gulf, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Leyte Gulf was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
