Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kijel Sorenson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, DeVon Hampton!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Dirk Anderson and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sorenson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hampton is looking for a sweep.
Sorenson decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hampton to his feet.
Hampton has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Sorenson clinches up with Hampton and pushes him back against the cage.
Sorenson turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Sorenson manages to end up in side control.
Hampton tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sorenson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Hampton manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hampton lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hampton moves into full mount! Sorenson won't be happy about that!
Hampton has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Sorenson's face.

Sorenson tries to hold on but Hampton pushes him away.

Hampton postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Sorenson bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Hampton and the fight is over!
