The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Joukani.
Dunn has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Joukani swings for the body but Dunn moves out of range.
Joukani pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Dunn! But no joy.

and Dunn counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Dunn takes a swing at Joukani's ribcage but misses.
Dunn catches Joukani with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

and Joukani finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Joukani has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Zenarals' House in the buildup to the fight.
Joukani swings for the body but Dunn moves out of range.
Joukani fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dunn.
Dunn throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Joukani seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

It looks like Michael Dunn has been cut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Joukani circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Dunn drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Joukani follows Dunn to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Rou Joukani started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
