Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Meyer Lanksy (ranked 6411 p4p, 6429 weight class) and Shaqiup Ezzeli (ranked 606 p4p, 613 weight class). Meyer Lanksy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shaqiup Ezzeli!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ezzeli avoids the body shot from Lanksy.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Lanksy stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Ezzeli shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lanksy pinned against the cage. Lanksy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Meyer Lanksy will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Meyer Lanksy is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Meyer Lanksy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ezzeli tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lanksy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ezzeli somewhat.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Ezzeli has eaten all the pies!

Lanksy is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
A punch lands to the side of Ezzeli 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Lanksy connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ezzeli momentarily.

Ezzeli is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lanksy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
