Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jean Sebastian Joly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Vanna Phommathep!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phommathep tries to clinch but Joly is having none of it.
Phommathep closes the distance and pushes Joly back into the cage.
Phommathep is trying to pull guard but Joly has him pressed against the cage.
Phommathep tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Joly smiles and moves away.
Vanna Phommathep seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Phommathep takes the fight into the clinch.
Phommathep blocks a body shot from Joly.
A short uppercut from Joly.
Joly tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Joly tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Joly scores with a shoulder strike.
Phommathep tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Joly smiles and moves away.
Jean Sebastian Joly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vanna Phommathep.
Joly jabs Phommathep right on the nose. Phommathep blinks but takes it well.
Phommathep tries to clinch but Joly is having none of it.

Joly throws a good cross that connects.
Phommathep slips a straight right by Joly.
Phommathep takes the fight into the clinch.
Phommathep is trying to pull guard but Joly turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Phommathep pulls guard.
Joly has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Phommathep bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Joly's guard.
Phommathep stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Joly swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Joly is trying to control the position but Phommathep postures up.
Phommathep wants to control from the top but Joly keeps moving.
Phommathep works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Phommathep throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Phommathep passes to full mount!
Joly is looking to improve his position but Phommathep isn't that keen on the idea.
Phommathep is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Phommathep!
