PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jason Stillwell (ranked 2222 p4p, 6222 weight class) and Bam Bam Joshy (ranked 287 p4p, 568 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Stillwell might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Burning Heart. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stillwell misses with a takedown attempt - Joshy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Stillwell looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Joshy is fending him off so far but Stillwell persists. Nope, Joshy circles away and we're back to standing.
Joshy fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Stillwell on the side of the head.
Joshy swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Stillwell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Joshy tries to avoid it but Stillwell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Joshy to the ground. Joshy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Stillwell. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A left lands for Joshy.
Stillwell closes the distance and clinches up with Joshy, looking for a takedown. Stillwell pushes Joshy against the cage but Joshy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Stillwell slips under a jab from Joshy.
Joshy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stillwell.
Joshy digs a good hook to Stillwell's body.
Stillwell has a takedown stuffed.
Joshy tries to counter with a clinch but Stillwell shakes him off and moves away.
Joshy misses with a straight right.
Stillwell darts in looking for a takedown but Joshy gets double underhooks and turns Stillwell into the cage.

Stillwell has Joshy pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Joshy manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Joshy creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Stillwell's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Stillwell drops to his knees and Joshy pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
