Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Stefan De Vries!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Killian Risher!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Risher with a poor takedown
and De Vries counters with a nice uppercut.
Risher bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Risher is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Risher doesn't succeed with the takedown
and De Vries counters with a nice uppercut.
De Vries throws a hook but Risher blocks it.
De Vries misses with a hook.
Risher throws a lazy head kick
and De Vries counters with a nice uppercut.
De Vries throws a hook but Risher avoids it easily.
Risher feints the counter takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Risher throws a predictable looking body shot
and De Vries counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Risher tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but De Vries was well out of range. Poor timing from Risher.
De Vries lunges at Risher with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Risher's hand.

Risher is rocked!

It looks like Killian Risher has been cut.
De Vries seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Risher walks straight into a right hand from De Vries - that's dropped him! De Vries jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Risher from any more punishment! Risher complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Stefan De Vries!
