Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kwasi Kwong (ranked 1651 p4p, 2694 weight class) and Patrick Watt (ranked 240 p4p, 368 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watt takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Kwong misses the shot to the body.

Kwong is looking to counter punch.
Kwong rushes Watt and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Watt swings wildly with an uppercut but Kwong uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kwong throws a head punch that misses.
Watt swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Watt tries to circle away but Kwong has him pinned against the cage.
Kwong lands a shoulder strike.
Kwong works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Nice body punch from Kwong - that landed with a thud.

Kwong lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Watt backwards.

Still in the clinch, Watt scores with a nice short uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Watt wants to get back to striking at distance but Kwong won't allow it.

Kwong pushes Watt back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Kwong pushes Watt against the cage. Kwong is working some dirty boxing. Kwong pushes off with a quick right hook! Watt goes down! Watt tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Kwong moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Our winner, Kwasi Kwong, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
