Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chip Saunders!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jason Ebert!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saunders shoots in for a double leg but Ebert sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Saunders changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ebert tries to avoid it but Saunders manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ebert to the ground. Ebert escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Saunders pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ebert tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Saunders was well out of range. Poor timing from Ebert.
Saunders looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A combination from Saunders does no damage.
Ebert throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A decent looking cross lands there for Ebert.
Ebert throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Saunders walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

It looks like Chip Saunders has been cut.

Ebert feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Saunders sprawling to the canvas! Saunders rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ebert finish him?!

Saunders is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ebert looks to throw the jab but Saunders is out of range.
Oh Saunders is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Saunders moves in looking to clinch but Ebert pushes him off.
Saunders seems to have got his legs back now.
Saunders tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ebert manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ebert drops Saunders with a straight right hand, right on the button! Ebert follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jason Ebert!
