Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Serhey Rishkinov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 8 - 1, fighting out of London, Humors Lacplesis!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rishkinov fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lacplesis looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Lacplesis throws a leg kick that misses.
Lacplesis uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rishkinov.
Rishkinov thumps Lacplesis with a low kick.

Rishkinov has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Top Gun Academy in the buildup to the fight.
Rishkinov connects with a right hand. Lacplesis shakes it off.
Rishkinov takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rishkinov is looking to chop away at Lacplesis's legs.

Rishkinov looks for the body kick but Lacplesis saw that one coming.
Rishkinov throws a lazy right hand but Lacplesis sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Rishkinov throws a front kick that sends Lacplesis stumbling back into the cage.
Lacplesis throws an overhand right that lands on Rishkinov's shoulder, as Rishkinov tries to avoid the shot.

Lacplesis gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rishkinov to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Lacplesis pulls Rishkinov in close to his closed guard and prevents Rishkinov from doing any damage or advancing position.
Lacplesis's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Lacplesis is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

You can see the frustration on Rishkinov's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That was a close round but I would say that Serhey Rishkinov will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Rishkinov is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lacplesis's half guard.
Lacplesis tries to kick Rishkinov off in order to stand up. Rishkinov Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lacplesis parries the strikes from Rishkinov easily there. Rishkinov is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Lacplesis to escape.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Serhey Rishkinov.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rishkinov, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Serhey Rishkinov spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
