Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Charles Sobhraj (ranked 3498 p4p, 4231 weight class) and Kai Kara France (ranked 202 p4p, 234 weight class). Sobhraj comes into the arena with hurragutt blaring out of the sound system. Kai Kara France will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kara France throws a nice looking combination but Sobhraj bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sobhraj feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Sobhraj lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Sobhraj lands a couple of elbows.
Sobhraj is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Sobhraj controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Sobhraj is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Sobhraj content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Sobhraj pushes down on Kara France's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sobhraj lands a nice short elbow.

Sobhraj looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kara France with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Sobhraj winds up and cracks Kara France with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Kara France really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sobhraj. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kara France tries to kick Sobhraj off but Sobhraj keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Kara France looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Sobhraj! Submission of the night perhaps?

A relieved looking Charles Sobhraj thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
